The old bank at 2 Eliot Street has always been a focal point of Milton Village. Today, we are opening its doors once again to serve as a cornerstone of the neighborhood—reinvented as a lively grocery, cafe, and gathering place.
Two Pence Market was born out of a simple idea: to blend the warmth of a traditional neighborhood market with the quality of modern, locally sourced curation. We’ve preserved the architectural soul of this historic building, right down to the original bank vault, to create a space where neighbors can connect, slow down, and share a love for great food.

We take pride in filling our shelves and counters with a thoughtful mix of everyday staples and local culinary gems. You can stop by for our chef-prepared daily eats, featuring fresh, vibrant salads, hearty grain bowls, afternoon smoothies, and local ice cream. Right next to it, our bakery corner features fresh bread and bagels delivered straight from our partners at Steel & Rye. We also pair seasonal produce from local farms with curated pantry essentials and fresh floral selections to cover all your market needs. Finally, you can step inside our fully restored, historic bank vault to explore a uniquely housed, curated selection of exceptional wine, beer, and craft spirits.
